Job summary
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a two-year Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship across Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in hospital pharmacy as you work toward becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician.
On successful completion you will be eligible to register with the GPhC and begin a rewarding career.
Qualifications
- GCSEs including English Language and Mathematics.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email.
- Willingness to undertake Certificate of Higher Education.
Responsibilities
- Support the safe preparation and supply of medicines.
- Work with Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists on hospital wards.
- Develop knowledge in medicines management and stock control.
- Communicate with patients, healthcare professionals and other members of the Pharmacy team.
