Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Advanced Pharmacy Apprentice to train across hospital pharmacy services, dispensing prescriptions, counselling patients, and supporting medicines management on wards and through outpatient services.

The apprenticeship funds training for those without a level 4 qualification; candidates with higher qualifications may self-fund the course. Training covers both inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• 4 x GCSE, grades 9-4 in Maths, English and 2 science subjects (to include chemistry)
• N.B. Dual or Triple Science including Chemistry is acceptable
• NVQ level 2 pharmacy Services
• IT qualification
