We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team at HMP Leicester, a Category B male prison located in Leicestershire.

HMP Leicester is a male prison with a capacity of 356, with 80% of prisoners on remand.

The pharmacy team consists of 5 members, including a Lead Pharmacy Technician, a Pharmacy Technician, and a Pharmacy Assistant.

There are 4 hatches in the pharmacy department: 2 generic hatches and 1 menadione hatch.

Hours

This is a permanent role based on 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Sunday:

• Shift patterns to cover:
• Monday - Sunday, 7:30 am - 6:30 pm or 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• 1 weekend in 4

Salary

This full-time position offers an annual salary between £33,232 and £40,211 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
