what will you do?

• Process prescription requests while building trusted customer relationships, demonstrating patience, empathy, care, and compassion
• Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues for optimal customer outcomes
• Follow department processes to input information, dispense medication, and verify details
• Assist in maintaining smooth operations by managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and rotating stock
• Handle products properly, operate equipment, keep accurate logs, and adhere to sanitation practices

Required Qualifications:

• Computer skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations for data entry and prescription filling without errors
• State-specific requirements—may require Pharmacy Technician certification
• New Jersey applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management and ordering products
• Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

Note: Certification and/or state registration may be required for Pharmacy Technicians in some states. Wegmans may hire individuals before they obtain these qualifications, supporting their certification process. Certified Pharmacy Technicians at participating locations may earn a $.50/hour shift differential.
