Are you an experienced retail leader who thrives on developing people, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving commercial success?

We're looking for an inspiring Pharmacy Team Manager to lead one of our community pharmacies. You don't need to come from a pharmacy background – if you're passionate about leading high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving results, we'll provide the support you need to succeed in this rewarding healthcare environment.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Team Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the pharmacy, ensuring it delivers an exceptional experience for every patient and customer.

You'll:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive and engaging culture.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Drive business performance by growing prescriptions, retail sales, profitability and local market share.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every customer receives a welcoming, professional experience.
  • Recruit, coach and develop colleagues, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with local customers, GP surgeries and healthcare professionals, making your pharmacy an important part of the local community.
  • Work closely with the Responsible Pharmacist to ensure the pharmacy operates safely, ethically and in line with all regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with proven leadership experience who enjoys taking ownership, inspiring teams and delivering results.

You'll have:

  • Experience managing a retail, hospitality, healthcare or customer-focused operation.
  • A track record of leading, coaching and developing successful teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to improve performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, resilient approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Previous community pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential. We'll provide the support you need to understand the pharmacy environment and work alongside our pharmacy professionals.

Why Join Well?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious retail leader looking to build a rewarding career in healthcare. You'll combine everything you enjoy about retail leadership - leading people, serving customers, driving performance and developing teams - with the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's health and wellbeing every day.

No two days are the same, and you'll enjoy the challenge of balancing customer service, commercial performance and operational excellence while leading a team that's passionate about improving local communities.

  • Highly competitive salary
  • Performance bonus scheme
  • Opportunities to gain further qualifications
  • Excellent learning, development and career progression opportunities
