Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Dispensary team. You will participate in dispensing activities and act as a friendly face at the pharmacy hatch, assisting patients and health care professionals as part of a collaborative team.

The role includes weekend, public holiday and late-night rotas, with opportunities for learning within a supportive culture. Travel across the service area is required.

Qualifications

• SVQ 2 (or equivalent in Pharmacy) is required.
• Ability to travel within the service delivery area is essential.
• Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check is required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing activities within the Dispensary.
• Greet patients, their representatives and other health care professionals at the Pharmacy hatch.
• Support a friendly, collaborative pharmacy environment and participate in learning and improvement activities.
