Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker to join the team at New Craigs Hospital in Inverness, helping to ensure the safe, efficient supply and management of medicines across the hospital.

The successful candidate will be supported to complete a SVQ/NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services and must meet the mandatory induction standards for Health Care Support Workers in Scotland, in line with the code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Duties include assisting with dispensing and supply under supervision.
• Maintaining ward and departmental stock levels and stock control.
• Processing medicine orders and returns.
• Providing administrative support and handling enquiries.
