Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a motivated pharmacy support worker to join the cancer pharmacy team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. You will primarily work within dispensing and aseptic areas, with exposure to stores, outpatient and ward areas, in a busy environment.

You must have NVQ2 in pharmacy services or be working towards it, and be flexible and team‑oriented. The post includes weekend/public holiday rotas and full aseptic training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience is essential.
• NVQ2 in pharmacy services or working towards one.
• Willing to participate in weekend and public holiday rotas.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines in dispensing and aseptic areas.
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on the ward and outpatient areas.
• Stock control and medicines delivery coordination.
• Environmental monitoring and aseptic unit duties.
• Administrative tasks related to the dispensary workflow.
