Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Stock Controller for Pharmacy Stores at the Royal Derby Hospital. The role focuses on accurate daily stock reporting, discrepancy resolution and routine stock checks to ensure availability for staff and patients.

The post holder will work 8.15am to 4.45pm with a 60-minute lunch, and training and development opportunities are provided within a welcoming team in the Pharmacy Stores.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for printing and completing the stock report for the Pharmacy Stores on a daily basis.
• Review ad-hoc stock discrepancies that have been recorded on the stock investigation sheet for Stores.
• Run the low use (KSLOW) report for Stores on a monthly basis.
• Stock check the Must Have and critical medicines list stock levels on a daily basis.
• Stock check the consumables lines held in Stores.
• Complete the daily abusable stock checks.
• Be responsible for the planned expiry date checking and stock rotation of stock held in Stores.
