Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Stores Stock Supervisor to oversee the pharmacy stores stock at Queens Hospital. You will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate stock levels and provide timely services to staff and patients.

The role requires effective communication with pharmacy teams and other healthcare professionals, plus strong organisational skills to handle stock discrepancies and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must possess (or be working towards) a GPhC-recognised Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services.
• Experience in NHS or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to use automated/electronic systems for stock control.
• Knowledge of stock control processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock of medications in the stores at Queens Hospital, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide accurate, timely and efficient pharmacy stores service for staff and patients.
