Job summary

Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Romford is seeking a Band 3 Pharmacy Store Assistant to join the Purchasing and Distribution team at Queens Hospital.

The role focuses on safe storage and supply of pharmaceuticals, stock control, purchasing and invoicing, and supporting the Pharmacy robot implementation. NHS experience is desirable; strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe storage and supply of pharmaceuticals to wards and departments.
• Work in distribution, receiving, purchasing and invoicing areas.
• Maintain standards in the stores area and train staff.
• Manage daily stock checks in pharmacy stores.
• Assist in running the Pharmacy stores robot.
• Work well in a team and manage time effectively.
• Follow instruction and maintain competence in a busy stores environment.
