Job summary

JustApply Ltd in Stockport is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations, assist customers at the medicines counter and work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers hands-on learning, patient-facing support, stock control and a chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while you work.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths/English desired but can be provided during course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
