Job summary

JustApply is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice for a busy community pharmacy in Honiton. You will support day‑to‑day operations, assist customers at the counter, and train toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full support.

You'll complete the apprenticeship alongside your job, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare setting and earning while you learn. Training lasts typically 15 months with blended learning.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential.
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications required or testing.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
