Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in Honiton. You will support the day-to-day running, help customers, and work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, gaining hands-on experience while earning as you learn. The program runs for around 15 months, with blended learning and practical supervision.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent; if not present, tests determine suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
