Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy in Newborough, England. You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while performing essential customer-facing duties.

No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided, with 32-hour weeks and a rota including Saturdays. This role offers hands-on training in a healthcare setting and a clear pathway to long-term opportunities in pharmacy.

Qualifications

• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship to be completed alongside role.
• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety standards and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
