Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations and assist with customer queries at the counter. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided.

This 15‑month role combines practical work with blended learning, delivering a recognised pharmacy qualification while you work. Excellent customer service and team‑oriented skills are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired, may be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Duration typically 15 months.
• Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning.
• Apprentices must commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy and help customers.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
