Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and assist customers at the medicines counter.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Typical duties include handling stock, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, using pharmacy systems, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English; STEM or healthcare background helpful.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship training provided.
• Willing to learn and complete initial Maths/English tests if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
