Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Birkenhead is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice. You will support daily pharmacy operations and assist customers while studying a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Full training is provided, with working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A genuine interest in healthcare and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• Full training provided; no prior pharmacy experience required.
• Apprenticeship training delivered alongside the job.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy and assist customers.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales under supervision.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
