Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant for the Pharmacy Repackaging Unit in Aldershot. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided, with duties including pre-packing for A&E, OPD and ward packs and ensuring stock is received and distributed within the unit.

You will work under the Chief Technician/Production Manager, follow GMP and MHRA requirements, observe COSHH rules, and participate in ongoing procedure updates to maintain a high quality

Qualifications

• No previous experience is necessary; full training will be given.
• Receipt and distribution of pharmaceuticals with good stock control.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Repackaging Unit under the direction of the Chief Technician/Production Manager.
• Pre-pack bulk pharmaceuticals into A&E packs, OPD packs and ward packs for all customers of the unit.
• Observe GMP requirements as demonstrated during training to uphold MHRA assembly licence.
• Overlabel pre-packed medicines for A&E, OPD and Clinic use for all customers of the unit.
• Observe COSHH regulations when pre-packing and storing bulk pharmaceuticals.
• Adhere to current procedures and keep up to date with procedure changes in line with MHRA inspections.
