Job summary

Asda is seeking a Pharmacy Practice Manager in Ellesmere Port to lead the pharmacy team, ensuring excellent patient care while driving profitable performance. The role blends clinical governance, NHS service delivery, and strong people management within a store environment.

You must be a fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC, capable of balancing line management with clinical duties, and driven to achieve KRAs through coaching and collaboration across in-store and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS and private healthcare services.
• Able to balance line management with pharmacist duties to ensure safe working practices.
• Inspire and motivate the pharmacy team to hit defined KRAs and deliver results.
• Experience handling challenging situations while maintaining strong store and field connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience.
• Ensure patient safety and high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC guidance.
• Oversee development of direct reports and locums to maintain professional standards.
• Collaborate with NHS/local services and store/office teams to support service delivery.
