Job summary

Morrisons Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the store’s pharmacy team, delivering essential care, advice and prescriptions to the local community. You will report to the Store Manager and shape the service at the heart of the store.

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with GPhC registration and proven team management experience who can drive service standards, governance and patient care while supporting staff development. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Pharmacy degree and GPhC registration.
• Proven experience leading a pharmacy team and workload management.
• Caring, practical attitude with strong patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team with care and emphasise clinical governance and staff training.
• Drive pharmacy sales, services and profitability in a compliant, cost-effective way.
• Manage staff competence and performance, sharing best practices across the department.

Our Pharmacy Managers are responsible for the following:

• Leading your team with care you will emphasise the importance of clinical governance and investing time in training your colleagues.
• Proactively driving pharmacy sales, services, and profitability in a cost-effective and safe way, making sure we always adhere to legal, ethical, and company requirements.
• Manage individual staff competence and team performance, bringing out the best in everyone while implementing and sharing best practices across the department.
• Focus on day-to-day operations as well as medium-term strategy, regularly auditing our services, systems, records, and standards to ensure we’re always delivering the very best for our community.

We’re looking for a passionate, qualified Pharmacy Manager who combines clinical expertise with great leadership skills and a warm, compassionate approach.

You’ll be the kind of person who has:

• Pharmacy qualifications and registration: Holds a recognised Pharmacy degree and active membership with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven team management experience: Confident leading, supporting, and developing a pharmacy team, managing workloads effectively and getting the best out of your colleagues.
• A caring attitude: Takes a practical, hands-on approach to running the pharmacy, resolving customer queries comfortably and efficiently..
