Job summary

Tesco Pharmacies is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead a dedicated team, oversee NHS and private services, and deliver exceptional patient care in our store pharmacy. You will work alongside the Pharmacy Manager to train staff, strengthen links with Primary Care Networks and GPs, and ensure accurate NHS claim processing while supporting community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required.
• Proven leadership and ability to empower a team.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join PVG Scheme, DBS checks arranged.
• DBS check to be completed before employment.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and NHS/private services, provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Support charity programs delivering guidance to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• Support Pharmacy Manager to lead, train and develop colleagues.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate NHS payment claims for items.
