Job summary

Kamsons Pharmacy Saltdean in the Brighton area is recruiting a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant for a busy community pharmacy. You will join a small, friendly team to safely supply medications, give healthcare advice and handle customer interactions throughout the day.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (one hour unpaid break). Starting pay is up to 12.71 per hour. You will contribute to various tasks including dispensing, NHS data submission, stock control and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Label and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Ensure safe supply and storage of medicines.
• Order stock and check dates to minimise waste.
• Update patient medication records with confidentiality.
• Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems as needed.
• Check declarations and submit data to NHS for payments.
• Process invoices and paperwork promptly.
• Keep dispensary and back shop tidy.
• Work with team to meet business goals.
• Liaise with surgeries and healthcare professionals about medication supply.
• Participate in delivery of additional healthcare services after training.
