Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to support our pharmacy team in-store across the UK. You will work with the pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, advise patients and learn NVQ2 Pharmacy Dispenser through in-role training.

This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent customer service and a willingness to learn. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you will gain valuable healthcare sector experience while progressing to qualified technician paths.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. Not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescribe dispensing whilst ensuring safe supply of medicines including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Work with healthcare professionals in store to deliver pharmacy services and advise patients.
