Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is offering a Trainee Dispenser role in-store across select locations. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare team, dispense prescriptions, and begin your NVQ2 Dispenser training while building relationships with patients.

This in-store role provides full training, with opportunities to progress toward Pharmacy Technician or store leadership, and requires UK right to work with no sponsorship for a Skilled Worker visa.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; UK sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines; labeling, dispensing, endorsing and collection.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Promote adherence and reduce waste through reliable repeats.
