Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions, provide patient care and guidance, and ensure safe, compliant medicine handling in a busy retail environment.

The role requires NVQ2 in Pharmacy or progress toward MPharm Year 1, and valid UK right to work. Experience in community pharmacy is a plus. Benefits include staff discounts and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store health professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients in managing prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence.
