Boots in Winchester is seeking a Dispenser to join the in-store pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacist by dispensing prescriptions and providing patient advice to ensure safe medicines use.

This role sits in the healthcare department within the store, focusing on building relationships with patients and delivering high‑quality services. You will work according to SOPs, stay updated with new processes, and have opportunities for training as a Pharmacy Technician or to join the leadership

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) completed or in progress.
• First year of MPharm qualification completed or in progress.
• Current and valid UK right to work; no sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsabilités

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Greet customers, provide medication advice and refer complex queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Assist patients with repeats and adherence, reducing waste and improving outcomes.
