Boots UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in dispensing prescriptions and delivering pharmacy services. You will greet patients, provide guidance on medicines, and ensure safe sale of medicines in-store, working within the healthcare department.

The role emphasizes patient-facing care, adherence support, and collaboration with the store's pharmacy team. UK rights to work are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or working towards) and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role does not offer sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and reference queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and promote adherence.
