Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide patient guidance on medicines and health matters while upholding safety standards.

You will work with other healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services, manage repeats, and help ensure adherence. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to assist in the management and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and referto queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Assist in managing repeats and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
