Job summary

The Boots Company PLC in the UK is hiring a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, and support the pharmacist to deliver safe, quality medicines and healthcare services.

Based in-store, you will build strong patient relationships, follow SOPs, and help manage repeats while staying current with new systems and store processes. Previous community pharmacy experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions and adherence.
