Job summary

Boots UK in Inverness is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals in delivering safe, efficient pharmacy services within-store.

You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, provide medicine advice, and follow SOPs to ensure safe dispensing. The role includes training and career development within Boots.

This in-store position requires UK right to work and NVQ2/MPharm progression where applicable, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or equivalent.
• Currently working towards MPharm with year 1 completed.
• Eligibility to work in the UK with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Assist in management and delivery of pharmacy services with store team.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage repeats and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
