Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser in-store across the UK to support the pharmacy team and help deliver safe, efficient medicines and healthcare services.

You will dispense prescriptions, advise patients, maintain SOPs, and work with the Pharmacist to ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.

Candidates should have NVQ2 in Pharmacy or be pursuing an MPharm with first year completed, and have the UK right to work. Benefits include staff discounts and flexible options.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and completed first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. No sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals in the store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and adherence to medicines.
