Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and ensuring safe, compliant medicine handling in the in-store healthcare department.

This UK-based role requires NVQ2 or progressing towards MPharm, current UK right to work, and a commitment to high professional standards. In-store training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or currently working towards MPharm, year 1 completed.
• Current and valid UK right to work; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Assist pharmacist and healthcare professionals in store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with new store technologies and processes.
• Help patients manage repeats and adherence to medicines.
