Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide patient advice to promote safe, effective healthcare.

The role emphasizes accuracy, SOP compliance, and excellent customer service in a busy retail environment. With opportunities for training and career progression, you’ll build strong patient relationships and help ensure a smooth pharmacy service that aligns with Boots’ standards and patient care

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Hold current and valid UK right to work. Not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients to manage repeats and adhere to prescribed regimens.
