Job summary

Boots in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join the in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, providing patient advice and ensuring safe, compliant service delivery.

You will work within the healthcare department, build relationships with patients and help manage medicines and repeats while staying compliant with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or working towards; first year of MPharm acceptable.
• UK right to work in place; no sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community/pharmacy setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions following SOPs and safety standards.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy services.
• Advise patients on medicines and refer questions to Pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate labelling, dosing and collection of prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and ensure safe sale of medicines.
• Promote patient adherence and offer guidance on medicines.
