Job summary

Your World is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser in Preston who MUST HAVE NVQ LEVEL 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills. You will support dispensing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and patient safety, with a focus on stock control and customer service.

This role is available as locum or permanent, paying £13.00-£15.00 per hour, with 6 months UK pharmacy experience preferred and full-time hours Mon to Fri. Start date 10/11/2026 to 18/12/2026.

Qualifications

• Credentials: MUST HAVE NVQ LEVEL 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 6 months in a UK-based Pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Delivery: Support the dispensing process by accurately picking, labelling, and assembling prescriptions under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
• Technical Excellence: Manage stock requirements, including receipt of deliveries, rotation of medicines, and expiry date monitoring to prevent wastage.
• Quality & Compliance: Adhere to SOPs and health and safety regulations to ensure accuracy and hygiene.
• Operational Success: Facilitate efficient ward deliveries and provide frontline customer service to patients and staff.
