Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser role in the UK offers a customer‑facing position in a supportive team. You will dispense medicines, advise customers, and help with pharmacy services while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
• Desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• Passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• Ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured.
• Initiative to make the right decisions for customers, including OTC guidance and referring to the pharmacist when needed.
• Positive, team-focused approach, communicating openly with colleagues across the store.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
• Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines and pharmacy services.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
• Handle queries within competence and hand over to the pharmacist when required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and SOP compliance.
• Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
