Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Dispenser in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on accurate dispensing, customer care, and advising on medicines and services. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team in a busy store environment, with a commitment to great service and compliance.

Pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
• A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
• Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
• Handle queries within competence and elevate when needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
