Heatherlands Pharmacy in Birkenhead, Merseyside, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join the team full-time. You will dispense and label private prescriptions, process orders, and maintain patient records while ensuring safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• UK pharmacy dispensing experience is required
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of pharmacy procedures and medicines management
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and label private prescriptions
• Prepare and assemble prescriptions for final pharmacist checking
• Process prescriptions using the pharmacy PMR system
• Maintain accurate patient medication records
• Receive, check, and manage pharmaceutical stock
• Assist with stock ordering and inventory management
• Ensure the dispensary is clean, organised, and compliant with SOPs
• Follow SOPs, GPhC standards, and relevant pharmacy regulations
• Support the pharmacist and wider team in daily operations
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
