Job summary

Heatherlands Pharmacy in Birkenhead is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our private, fast-paced team on a part-time basis. As the on-site Responsible Pharmacist, you will ensure safe, compliant operations and high clinical standards.

We do not provide NHS-commissioned services, offering a stable role with no weekend or on-call pressures. Benefits include training, pension, and 20 days leave pro rata, along with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• GPhC registered pharmacist with valid licence.
• Pharmacy qualification required.
• Newly qualified and experienced pharmacists are welcome.
• Good understanding of pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out prescription verification and final accuracy checks
• Ensure compliance with GPhC, legal, and health & safety requirements
• Maintain high clinical, operational, and housekeeping standards
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations

About the Role

Heatherlands Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and professional Pharmacist to join our friendly, fast-paced, and supportive team on a part-time basis.

As a private pharmacy, we do not provide NHS-commissioned services, allowing you to focus on clinical accuracy, patient safety, and high operational standards without weekend or on-call pressures.

As the Responsible Pharmacist on site, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant pharmacy operations while maintaining excellent clinical and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out prescription verification and final accuracy checks
• Ensure compliance with GPhC, legal, and health & safety requirements

Requirements
