Job summary

Kamsons Pharmacy in Ledston (LS10) seeks a Part-Time Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant to deliver friendly, professional customer service and assist with prescriptions and health advice. You will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–14:30, in a busy pharmacy environment with training provided.

Previous pharmacy or retail experience is desirable, and you will complete the Healthcare Assistant course as part of your training. A supportive team and structured development are offered.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, caring and professional service to customers.
• Maintain effective communication to ascertain customer needs for medicines, advice or prescriptions.
• Work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Handle till processes including sales of over-the-counter medication and pharmacy merchandise, cashing up and daily reporting.
• Follow medicines sales protocol and use standard questioning technique.
• Advise patients on medicines and general health and lifestyle matters.
• Receive and hand out prescriptions under supervision.
