Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Swindon is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations, assist customers, and learn through the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship with full training and support, earning while you learn and gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting. Start date is 12 October 2026 with a 15-month duration.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at C grade or equivalent.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship to be completed.
• Training provided alongside role to gain a recognised qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and confidentiality standards.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Brief Description

SN4 9LW We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - [Swindon]

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
