Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Skipton is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the daily pharmacy operations and engage with customers. You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship while working in a busy community pharmacy.

Full training is provided, with a focus on delivering safe and efficient service, stock control, and customer care in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English; training provided through the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow guidance in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Job description

BD23 5LS We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
