Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join our busy community pharmacy team in Halifax. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience and working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided. You will support the medicines counter, help with prescriptions under supervision, manage stock, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• Applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications may be offered employment if they complete initial maths/english tests to determine suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Brief Description

HX3 7JE. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course. For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
