Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Sheffield. You will join a busy community pharmacy team, supporting daily operations and learning through a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship over around 15 months.

No prior pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided. GCSEs in Maths and English are desirable, and you will gain hands-on experience delivering prescription counter services and customer care while working

Job description

Working Week: 30 hours per week - shifts will be discussed at interview however, the pharmacy opening times are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Brief Description

S8 7RD. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
