Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice for the town of Brough (HU15). You will support daily pharmacy operations, help customers, and study toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

Earn while you learn in a healthcare role, joining a busy community pharmacy team. No previous pharmacy experience is required; training starts from day one, with ongoing guidance and a qualification on completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, Maths and English desired but not essential.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Working Week: 8 hours 4 days a week with 1 day off
4 hours on a Sat
Sundays off - hours 32-36

Brief Description

BROUGH, HU15 - We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
