Job summary

Liverpool Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while working in the pharmacy, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.

Key duties include assisting customers, handling stock, processing prescriptions under supervision, and delivering safe, efficient service with full training and support provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.

L22 4QR We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
