Job summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy in Manchester. You will support day-to-day operations, assist customers at the counter, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided.

No previous pharmacy experience is required. The apprenticeship typically lasts about 15 months, with blended learning and on-site collaboration to gain a nationally recognised qualification and start a rewarding career in pharmacy.

• For applicants without Maths/English Level 2, initial tests determine suitability.

Brief Description

M41 5AA We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

About the role
