Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided to help you assist with counter queries, stock, and prescriptions under supervision.

About the role

Duration: Typically 15 months

Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning

Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours

Working Week

Mon and Fri - 0930-9pm, Tues-Thurs 10am-9pm Sat 5pm-9pm Sun 10am-10pm

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
