Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to help run daily pharmacy operations and support customers under the guidance of the pharmacy team. You will train in a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

The role includes assisting with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, and using pharmacy systems while upholding high standards of safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
